NTFSKEW

Returns skewness of a specified F distribution.

Syntax

NTFSKEW(
N1,
N2
)

Parameters

  • N1 is a parameter of the distribution N1N_1 (Positive integer).
  • N2 is a parameter of the distribution N2(>6)N_2(>6).

Remarks

The skewness of the distribution is given as:

(2N1+N22)8(N24)N1(N1+N22)(N26)\frac{(2N_1+N_2-2)\sqrt{8(N_2-4)}}{\sqrt{N_1(N_1+N_2-2)}(N_2-6)}
