NTWEIBULLINV

Returns the inverse of the cumulative distribution function for a specified Weibull distribution.

Syntax

NTWEIBULLINV(
prob,
Alpha,
Beta
)

Parameters

  • prob is a probability corresponding to the normal distribution.
  • Alpha is a parameter of the distribution α(>0)\alpha(>0).
  • Beta is a parameter of the distribution β(>0)\beta(>0).

Remarks

The return value x for probability P is

x=α(logP)1/βx=\alpha\left(-\log P\right)^{1/\beta}
