NTGAMMASTDEV

Returns standard deviation of a specified gamma distribution.

Syntax

NTGAMMASTDEV(
Alpha,
Beta
)

Parameters

  • Alpha is a parameter of the distribution α(>0)\alpha(>0).
  • Beta is a parameter of the distribution β(>0)\beta(>0).

Remarks

The standard deviation of the distribution is given as:

αβ2\alpha\beta^2
